The Solemn Vow Retreat is a 30-day immersion in the sources of our Francsican vocation. In Rome, we build our ‘fraternitas’ by reflecting together on what it means to hear the Gospel within the community of the Church. In the shrines of the Rieti Valley, a preached retreat breaks open how the Word of God desires to become incarnate in our lives today. Atop LaVerna, participants delve into the experience of ritiro and, with a dedicated director’s guidance, explore their call to intimacy with Christ for the life of the world. Finally in Assisi, participants strengthen one another by sharing the fruit of their prayer, just as Francis and Clare did with the brothers/sisters whom God had gifted them.
